Tar-rum-tu is an educational series for tiny tots produced by CIET under the Pre-School Television Project (PSTV). Legendry Scientist Prof. Yash Pal, who always believed in 'Learning without burden', conceptualized this series with a vision that children should get the flavour of learning. This amazing educational series for kids was transmitted on Doordarshan way back in early 90’s.

The Indian tradition of classical music is very ancient. The series of Raag Ranjan introduces the listener to the Indian tradition of classical singing. This series of 50 episodes provides understanding of various Indian raagas. The explanation contains information about the timing of the singing of a particular raag, the manner in which the modulation in singers' voice (sur) etc takes place, besides the form and the manner of its presentation.
Odissi - the dance form, originated in the famous Jagannath Temple of Puri. Odissi is learnt and performed as a composite of basic dance motif called the Bhangas (symmetric body bends, stance). It involves lower (footwork), mid (torso) and upper (hand and head) as three sources of perfecting expression and audience engagement with geometric symmetry and rhythmic musical resonance. The expert, Ms. Nandini Ghosal, an eminent Odissi exponent and actor has explained the various mudras and abhinaya through this series of 42 modules.
Rabindra Sangeet also known as Tagore Songs, are songs written and composed by the Bengali polymath Rabindranath Tagore, winner of the 1913 Nobel Prize in Literature. Rabindra Sangeet merges fluidly into Tagore's literature, most of which—poems or parts of novels, stories, or plays alike—were lyricized. Influenced by the thumri style of Hindustani music, they ran the entire gamut of human emotion, ranging from his early dirge-like Brahmo devotional hymns to quasi-erotic compositions.
Kathak is one of the major classical dance form of India. The word kathak is derived from the Sanskrit word katha meaning “to tell a story”. It is derived from the dance drama of ancient India. The series targets the students pursuing the Bachelor of Performing Arts in kathak. The programmes intends to help the students understand the basic position and movements of the hands, feet, eyes and torso. The practical sessions with the eminent experts explain the integrities of this unique dance form.

नाटक, रंगमंच, संगीत और उससे जुड़ी प्रयोगधर्मी परंपरा की व्याख्या करने वाले ग्रंथ को नाट्य शास्त्र कहा जाता है। यह भारत की कलात्मक निधि है। यह ग्रंथ संपूर्ण विश्व की कलात्मक कृतियों में सबसे प्राचीन, विशद, प्रामाणिक एवं सर्वांगीण विश्व-कोषात्मक ग्रंथ के रूप में विख्यात है। नाट्य शास्त्र के प्रणेता भरतमुनि कहे गए हैं। प्रस्तुत श्रृंखला में 30 उपाख्यानों के माध्यम से भारतवर्ष की संपूर्ण कला परंपरा के संदर्भ में नाटक और रंगमंच के सिद्धांतों और प्रयोगों का संपूर्ण विवेचन प्रस्तुत किया गया है। नाट्य शास्त्र के 36 अध्यायों द्वारा नाट्य की उत्पत्ति, प्रमाण, प्रयोग और समस्त विधाओं को सरल भाषा में उद्घाटित किया गया है।
